Michelle completed her Yoga Teacher Training at 7 Centres Yoga Arts in Sedona, Arizona. Her background includes work in Classical Hatha, Ashtanga and Iyengar in addition to her dance, movement and Pilates training. She started studying Pilates in 2003, mentoring under osteopath and Pilates Instructor Colleen Jorgensen at CORE BASICS, and has been learning ever since. Michelle specializes in working with clients who have recent injuries, chronic pain or other physical limitations. She believes deeply in the intelligence of the human body and works with care and respect for each of her students. She is most passionate about exploring the principals of balance, harmony and moving from the centre, as well as yoga and Pilates’ ability to help people connect with their bodies and lead happier and in many cases, pain-free lives. Known as a quiet and generous teacher, her classes combine her passion for physical alignment and a sense of play.
Michelle is currently studying Osteopathy at the Collège Études Ostéopathiques in Montreal.

Jodie uses a holistic approach of balancing the mind, body and spirit in order to fulfill her goal of restoring and maintaining her clients’ ideal health and energy. She offers Tui Na, Thai Yoga massage, Aqua-Veechi, Dynamic Osteo and Ear Candling so clients may optimize their health. She began her health care career several years ago at Montreal’s Public Health Department after completing her M.A. at Concordia University. Seeking a more hands on approach to health care, she sought extensive training from the Natural Health Institute, Aaxion College, the Lotus Palm School, Thai Massage Academy in Bangkok, Ecole d’O and Cera. She also received her certification as a yoga instructor with NESTA in California, Little Lotus in Montreal and Exclusive Yoga in Boston. Jodie is a member of the Quebec massage and naturopathy association and is able to give insurance receipts.

Isabelle is a doula and is fascinated by all that encompasses the birthing process. She teaches prenatal courses, the Bonapace method, baby massage and parent-child massage. She finds it a joy and a priveledge to accompany future parents in the wonderful transition to the birth of their child. For the last 7 years, she is also a practicing massage therapist and teacher, specializing in Californian massage, chair massage and prenatal massage. She deeply believes that a healthy touch is nourishing for the whole family. She hopes to give parents and children a place for learning and discovery and unforgettable moments in her classes and workshops.
Kate Laux | Art Therapist (MA, ATPQ)
Kate is a visual artist and art therapist who believes in the creative process for personal growth, insight, and healing. Kate offers her clients a broad range of artistic media and guidance in creating a tangible art object. Communicating and reflecting on the artwork provides a comfortable way to express oneself and to gain insight into our unconscious mind. Art therapy offers a safe space to highlight capabilities and strengths and to get in touch with one’s creative abilities.
Kate received her bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts at the State University of New York at New Paltz (1998) and her MA in Art Therapy at Concordia University (2009). Kate currently works as an art therapist for Cedars Cancer Institute, based in the McGill University Health Centre. She offers art therapy in a hospital setting to patients living with cancer. She also works in palliative care and provides art therapy to caregivers and family members affected by illness. She specializes in life transitions following an illness diagnosis. Kate also has a background offering art therapy to adolescents and adults in group and individual work.
Please note that no background in the arts or specialized art-making skills are necessary to benefit from art therapy! All materials are provided. A sliding scale is available.
